About the Veteran Recruiting Conference

Welcome to the Veteran Recruiting Conference!   2017 will be our 5th annual event and we are expecting 100-120 attendees from large companies that are looking for advice, connections and resources to help them successfully develop, execute and sustain veteran recruiting and retention programs.

There are a number of Fortune 500 companies that consider this a “must attend” event every year.

Sessions are led by talent acquisition leaders from various companies who have demonstrated success in these areas and by experts in the area of compliance.

The conference also includes two industry breakout sessions to encourage dialog and sharing of effective military recruitment practices between companies facing similar talent acquisition challenges. And there is an opportunity for every attendee to share ideas and effective recruiting/retention tactics during a "Room Full of Experts" session.

  • If you have little experience with development or execution of a veteran recruiting program The Value Of a Veteran offers a pre-conference workshop on Tuesday March 7th which covers all the basics of developing a military recruitment program.

 

  • If you are seeking in-depth advice on how to include Student Veterans in your university/campus recruiting strategy, the Student Veterans of America offers a pre-conference workshop on Tuesday March 7th which provides the details which will help you understand how you need to modify your existing practices

Both workshops are separate events and have a separate registration fee.  Please view the "sessions" page for content details and the "registration" page for pricing details.

Completion of the pre-conference workshop is not a pre-requisite to attend the conference. Conversely, you can choose to attend just the pre-conference workshop and not the full conference. Experienced program managers may consider sending newer team members to the pre-conference workshop and reserving the conference registration for themselves
