Karen is the Manager of Northrop Grumman’s Operation IMPACT (Injured Military Pursuing Assisted Career Transition) program. This grass-roots effort provides career transition assistance to those service members severely injured in combat operations in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and/or Operation Enduring Freedom.
Karen leads a team of people who provide personalized service to the wounded warriors by serving as their focal point and assisting them in identifying potential career opportunities and markets their skills throughout Northrop Grumman and to approximately 100 other companies and organizations who are partners in this effort.
Throughout her 24 year career with Northrop Grumman, Karen has served in many roles, including developing and implementing human resources policies and procedures as well as diversity and inclusion programs. Karen has also been responsible for EEO compliance and has led process improvement teams as a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. She has received the Department of the Navy’s Meritorious Public Service Award for her efforts in supporting wounded warriors.
