Handshake 2 Hire: Digital Transformation of Military Candidate Engagement and Recruitment

Lockheed Martin experienced the same challenge as other organizations; engaging military candidates from introduction; often 18 months before separation, through recruitment and hiring. We also recognized the need to scale leveraging ATS, CRM, and Talent Communities. The solution is Handshake 2 Hire (H2H). The process engages candidates through their military transition while aligning with our hiring process. H2H engages candidates at multiple events triggered by their personal timeline and career interest. H2H also launched a new process of distributing military candidates to recruiters and hiring managers based on their unique skills needs.
