Mark Fogel is a Senior Human Resources Manager at GE Aviation and leads their Junior Officer Leadership Program (JOLP), one of the oldest and most prestigious corporate rotational leadership programs. JOLP exists to recruit elite talent and develop them to be future senior leaders within one of the world’s most respected companies. Selection is highly competitive, and candidates are all former military officers with advanced leadership experience and the demonstrated potential to deliver outsized business impact.
Mark is a JOLP graduate himself, joining GE after serving 14 years as an Air Force officer in HR leadership roles and as an aviator with over 3000 hours in a variety of aircraft, primarily in the F-15C. Today, he teaches within the MBA and MPA programs at the University of Dayton, serves as a squadron commander and Lieutenant Colonel in the Ohio Air National Guard, and is a National Security Fellow with the Truman Project, a Washington DC-based non-profit. Mark earned a BS in behavioral sciences from the US Air Force Academy and an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School where his studies focused on leadership and organizational behavior.
