Lisa Rosser started The Value Of a Veteran in 2006, after recognizing an unmet need. Lisa combined her 22 years of military experience (both active Army and Army Reserve) with her 16 years of human resources / recruiting / diversity programs and training development experience and created training content specifically for recruiters, hiring managers and supervisors who wanted to improve recruitment and retention of veterans.

Jason joined Lockheed Martin’s Military Relations team tasked to enhance our veteran hiring programs. The result was Handshake to Hire (H2H) and he continues his dream job; helping veterans and spouses land their dream job at Lockheed Martin! Additionally, he has the opportunity to lead Lockheed Martin’s sourcing innovation programs. Simply put, his team explores how to provide the best possible career journey to those interested in joining Lockheed Martin.

KOCH INDUSTRIES
John C. Buckley, II, Colonel, U.S. Army (Ret) is a veteran, career coach and mentor, author, and an expert in the field of military-to-civilian career transition. He currently assists Koch companies to develop and implement military recruiting and retention programs. Prior to civilian life, John commanded infantry soldiers in combat and peacekeeping operations and directed two of the Army’s most prestigious schools.

Amgen
Bre’ Cameron is a United States Navy veteran, serving as a Photographer’s Mate from 2001 – 2006. She began her career in Talent Acquisition in 2011 and joined Amgen as their Veteran Employment Program Manager in 2017. Bre’ has a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Bowling Green State University and a Master’s degree in Engaged Humanities from Pacifica Graduate Institute.

Walmart
Brynt Parmeter is currently the Senior Director of Military & STEM Programs for Walmart. He also serves as a Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army and is a Board Member for a National Science Foundation project on the Future of Work. Prior to joining the private sector, Brynt served over 20 years as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army rising to the rank of colonel and serving around the world to include 39 months in combat in Iraq.

Amazon
John Quintas is Managing Director for Amazon’s global Military Affairs. His team’s mission is to drive Amazon’s customer obsession with military service members, veterans and their families. His responsibilities include talent acquisition, work force development, military entrepreneurship and veteran community engagement.
MILITARY PROGRAM MANAGER
Koch Industries
Steve Tillery is the Military Program Manager at Koch Industries. He assisted in the relief efforts for both Hurricanes Rita and Katrina, and he was then deployed overseas in 2007 as First Sergeant to Kuwait and Southern Iraq, was promoted to Command Sergeant Major in 2010 and deployed to Afghanistan in 2013. His distinguished military service has spanned over 34 years, currently serving as Brigade Command Sergeant Major 111th EOD Group Alabama Army National Guard, Opelika, AL.
Head of Community Affairs & Global Veteran Programs

Nick is currently the Head of Community Affairs and Global Veteran Programs at Schlumberger. Before joining Schlumberger, Nick was the Talent Acquisition Manager for Express Energy Services and prior to that, the Recruiting Manager for Igloo Products Corp. Nick’s professional HR career also includes tenure at several Fortune 100 companies such as Dynegy, Inc. and Aegis Mortgage Corporation.

Cognosante
Christopher Valdez currently works for Cognosante, a mission-driven technology company, as a Veteran Recruiting Liaison with a focus on recruiting and advocating for Veterans from all branches of the U.S. Military into critical roles for the organization. Prior to his role at Cognosante, he did government consulting with the DoD for 7 years. He is also a proud member of the Virginia Army National Guard serving as an Infantry Officer.
